Confirmation is normally celebrated in the tenth grade with a two year preparation.

Our Confirmation Program consists of two (2) years of preparation beginning with participation in our Youth Ministry Program as a Freshman in High School. The program consists of candidates participation in worship by attendance at weekend Masses and acting lectors and gift bearers at youth celebrations.

The doctrinal portion of the program occurs throughout the two year period utilizing the connect program. The curriculum’s emphasis is on the sacrament of confirmation and social justice and the extended community.

The candidates are required to complete community service hours in a variety of ways that encourage them to take an active role in their parish and community. They assist in food basket preparation during the holidays, and in individual outreach programs, including  a Halloween event for the young children within the parish. The candidate also act as aids in our religious education program. The spiritual growth of each candidate is fostered by attending a scheduled day of retreat and a reconciliation service. Parent and sponsor meetings occur during the two year program. Confirmation is administrated in the Sophmore  year of High School.
